Why Buy the 2018 Hyundai Kona

For almost two decades, Hyundai produced a healthy number of SUVs, some of which are among the better and better-known ones in the segment. And in June 2017, the South Korean automaker introduced its smallest one yet: the Kona. Based on the same platform as the compact Elantra sedan, it possesses the car's fuel efficiency and accessibility, while still providing a considerable amount of interior space and sturdiness. The 2018 model is available as an SE, SEL, Limited, and Ultimate trim.

Exterior - Reasons Why Buy the Kona

Rather than rely on a body-on-frame design, this 2018 vehicle uses unibody construction to enforce integrity and toughness. The sheet metal itself consists of 75 percent of hot-stamped high- or ultra-high-strength steel, which helps in keeping the vehicle light. The halogen headlights on the crossover have the ability to automatically switch on when there's a dearth of outdoor light and automatically switch off when it's sufficient. The SEL gets additional roof side rails for extra cargo-carrying capability and turn-signal indicators on the side mirrors. Also, the wheels are upgraded to 17-inch alloy ones. Eighteen-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights and taillights for brighter and longer-lasting illumination, and fog lights for better lighting in hard-to-see driving situations appear on the Limited and Ultimate trims.
